Housing Selection Committee

The Town of Pinetops is seeking applicants to serve on the newly created Housing Selection Committee for Community Development Block Grants (CDBG).  The Housing Selection Committee is a requirement to have in place to be eligible to apply for CDBG housing Funds.  The committee plays a role in developing and implementing the process and determining eligible applicants when any CDBG Housing grants are awarded to the Town.  More details can be found in the By-laws for the Committee, below.

The are three (3) seats available on the Five(5)-member Committee.  Two seats are for Board of Commission Members, while the remaining three are for residents of Pinetops.

If you are interested in being considered for one of these seats, you can pick up an application at Town Hall or call 252-827-4434.  The application and by-laws are below, so you can print out the application, fill it out, and bring it to Town Hall if you are interested.
